After five months in Sunny, my travels up north towards Cairns has begun. First stop is Noosa, and thus far she has treated us with nothing but hot summer days, spectacular views and sunsets. Next up is Agnes Water, Lady Musgrave Island and the Great Barrier Reef. It is good practise for me to stay very un-busy. I am so used to live a very on-the-go, busy and hectic life. I appreciate the quiet, especially just after the sun sets when most people have left the beach. I have started to meditate again, and I find that it helps me cope with my anxiety.

 

I know it seem like I have nothing to be stressed about, but staying calm and doing nothing when I should be working and saving money is hard. I know I've been luckier than most people can ever dream of these last couple of months, but it did take me almost six months of preparation last year to even be able to come here. Next year I want it to happen in less time, with less certainty. In all aspects. I know I will make it happen - I always do. It is something I pride myself with. It's good practise for me to let go of the need for control and trust that things usually work out though. I'm not alone, and it's okay to ask for help.
